1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ATSSA ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

ATSSA is a free online tool that helps South African job seekers create ATS-optimised CVs. We provide CV generation, scoring against pasted job descriptions, and downloadable documents.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and provide truthful information when registering and completing your profile.

4. User Responsibilities

  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of all information you submit.
  • You must not use the Service to create misleading, fraudulent, or defamatory content.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

5. No Employment Guarantee

ATSSA does not guarantee interviews, shortlisting, or employment outcomes. ATS scores are estimates based on the content of pasted job descriptions and may differ from real employer Applicant Tracking Systems.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all personal information and CV content you submit. ATSSA retains ownership of the platform, software, and design.

7. Advertising

The Service is free and supported by advertising. Ads are clearly labelled. Your personal data is never sold to advertisers.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, ATSSA, its owners and TECHANDTAG shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses arising from use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Account Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including POPIA. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
